Corrections Policy

Dalton Financial News aims to be accurate. When we get something wrong, we fix it — and we make it easy to tell us.

How to report an error

If you find a factual mistake, an out-of-date figure, or a calculation that looks off, email [email protected] with the page title or link and a short description of the problem. Our methodology page explains how each figure is produced, which can help pinpoint an issue.

How we handle corrections

We review every report. If a correction is warranted, we update the article promptly. For a substantive change to a figure or conclusion, we note what changed so readers understand the update.

Our commitment

Independent, data-driven analysis is only useful if it is trustworthy. Corrections are part of that — we would rather fix a number quickly than leave a wrong one in place.
